Sometimes clients come to me with an idea of what they want. Or what they think they want.

They bring me a concept or general idea which originates with their creative team.  Then I get to bring it to life with the help of the art directors and designers.

This image was commissioned by a client for a local sports medicine ad.   After working with this specific company for many years they trust my ideas and let me have some creative freedom.

The inspiration behind the concept was to picture high school athletes looking strong and ready for game day.  The original idea was to have the athletes photographed outside on a field of some sort.  I convinced the marketing team to let me create in the studio.  Recent photography classes had taught me some new techniques and inspired the final image.

My creative approach paid off. The client was delighted and the image earned me a bronze ADDY award from the American Advertising Federation
