A case study in efficiency for large company portraits.
The bigger your business gets, the more challenging company portraits can become. Coordinating dozens to hundreds of people for cohesive individual imagery is not easy. We also know that these sorts of sets are necessary for successful marketing and business development.
We make the process as painless as possible, to the point where people actually start having fun!
Such was the case during our two-hour corporate portrait session with Waibel Energy Systems, the premier supplier of HVAC equipment and services in the Miami Valley area.
It all started when Waibel’s office manager, Ashley, reached out after finding us on Google. Her company had an upcoming annual company-wide meeting, and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to update headshots for everyone from the executive team to the service technicians.
All in all, we would be taking portraits of 120 employees!
This is no problem, however, as our process is fine-tuned for large group portraits.
The meeting was being held at the Mandalay banquet center, and we used the morning to set up the space for quick rotations. You may think that our biggest challenge was COVID-19 restrictions, but really it was the fact that a lot of technicians don’t love to get their photos taken! These people are in their work trucks all day, and often weren’t big fans of smiling. But our setup kept things moving, and even the toughest of technicians couldn’t help but be super impressed with how quick we got their photo. Plus, it helped that we didn’t force them to smile! I believe that the best photo of someone is when they are relaxed and comfortable.
After we wrapped and sent the final images, Ashley shared her thoughts on how things went:
